Hospital Playlist Triangle Kimbap (삼각김밥)
Why this food?
The Korean convenience store triangle kimbap — the ultimate grab-and-go food from Hospital Playlist. Seasoned rice + tuna mayo filling, wrapped in crispy seaweed. Korean 편의점 culture in a triangle.
🇰🇷 K-Culture Tip
삼각김밥 was invented in Japan and adapted by Korean convenience stores (편의점) in the 1990s into a Korean institution. The 편의점 — open 24/7, on every corner — is one of Korea's most distinctive cultural spaces. Hospital Playlist's residents treat convenience stores like a second home: the 삼각김밥 peel-and-eat ritual is something every Korean knows.
