  • 1 package (40-50 wrappers) Nasoya Wonton Wrappers
  • 1 lb (450g) Great Value Ground Beef (80/20)
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce + 2 tablespoons minced garlic + 1 tablespoon sesame oil Kikkoman Soy Sauce + Great Value Minced Garlic + Ottogi Sesame Oil combo

Instructions

  1. 1

Step 1: Thaw frozen mandu wrappers at room temperature for 10 minutes. In a bowl, combine ground beef, minced garlic, soy sauce, and sesame oil—mix until well combined and fragrant.

  2. 2

Step 2: Place 1 teaspoon of filling in the center of each wrapper. Wet the edges with water using your finger, then fold in half to create a triangle.

  3. 3

Step 3: Bring the two pointed corners together and pinch to seal, creating the signature mandu shape. Place finished dumplings on a parchment-lined tray.

  4. 4

Step 4: Boil water in a large pot and add mandu in batches. They're done when they float to the surface and stay there for 1-2 minutes (about 5 minutes total).

  5. 5

Step 5: Serve hot with soy dipping sauce (mix soy sauce, rice vinegar, and sesame oil). Optional: pan-fry leftover mandu in a skillet with oil for 2-3 minutes per side for crispy texture.
